The new MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis has a global release date. The June publication was announced in April, and now we know the exact date. Update on June 8th: The Steam page of Phantasy Star Online 2 has been adapted to New Genesis. You can also download patches that contain more than 30 GB of new files. When will the new century come out? The new game is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, June 9. Then New Genesis will be installed instead of the usual maintenance of Phantasy Star Online 2. Regular maintenance should also be carried out a few days in advance.

The New Genesis version consists of two parts:

On the one hand, the old PSO 2 has been graphically modified and transferred to the new engine.
On the other hand, brand new content that can be played using New Genesis was released. These happened 1,000 years after the actual story of PSO 2 and looked much better graphically.

What platforms will New Genesis appear on?
PSO 2 is already running on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. New Genesis will be released on the same platform.

Which payment model does New Genesis use?
Like PSO 2, the new version of New Genesis will also be a free game.

From which courses does New Genesis start?
New Genesis will only offer six different professions at the beginning:
Hunter, warrior, ranger, gunman, force, and mechanic.
However, there are other classes in PSO 2. These will be added in August, autumn, and winter.

Can the interests of New Genesis be secured now?
Yes, because some of the contents of Phantasy Star Online 2 can bring new genesis. You can unlock many decorations in the previous game, which can also be obtained in New Genesis.
Consistent with this, there are currently some events running in PSO 2, which should prepare for New Genesis and provide you with, for example, more XP or other rewards (through PSO 2).
However, currency, materials, and other items that can bring you fun will not be transferred.

What is the next step for PSO 2 New Genesis after its release?
The developers have announced the roadmap after the release. This includes new regions, higher level caps, and new occupations. You can see the first content in the image below.

What else will happen in 2021?
In addition to Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, there also plans to launch some new MMORPGs in 2021:

New World will be released on August 31.

The Korean MMORPG Elyon should start with us in the fourth quarter of 2021. We have used it extensively in the beta version.

Amazon’s Lost Ark, a western publisher, is also scheduled to be released in 2021.
