GTA-Publisher Take-Two has 3 mysterious Remaster in the pipeline

GTA 5-Publisher Take Two-Interactive, according to an internal report, has three previously unannounced new editions of older titles in the pipeline. Of course, what kind of games are, of course, is not yet fixed, but many fans immediately think of Remaster or Remakes of games like GTA 3, GTA: San Andreas and GTA Vice City. Which also has good reasons.

GTA San Andreas, GTA Vice City and GTA 3 could come as Remasters

We really know that: From the Take-Two Interactive Annual Report, it shows that next to GTA 5: Expanded and Enhanced for PS5 and Xbox Series S / X, the GTA online standalone version and Kerbal Space Program also “Three unannounced” new editions of already published titles in the pipeline wait for their publication (via: Resetera).

Could there be GTA games? Theoretically, of course, already. Especially GTA 3, GTA San Andreas and GTA Vice City are now so old that they would greatly benefit from a chic Remaster or even remake.

Many fans who have come to the franchise first with GTA 5 are likely to have never experienced the games and therefore not to know. In addition, there is no doubtful demand for new GTA content.

In interviews and Q & A sessions, Take Two-Chef’s Strauss Zelnick reacts to corresponding inquiries. However, he explains that Remaster were always part of the strategy of the publisher and by the improvements also typically very well arrive (via VGC).

There are even more hints: The fact that the GTA 5-makers have probably been reinforced against fan projects lately, could indicate the Remaster. Until recently, MODS with the maps made of older titles such as GTA 3, GTA San Andreas, Vice City, Liberty City and another could be downloaded for GTA 5. This is no longer possible:

GTA 5: Rock star makes hunt for vice city mods and fans think: ‘There comes a remasterer’

But do not be pleased too soon: Of course, these three titles could also be very different games from the portfolio of Take Two-Interactive. For example, the first Red Dead Redemption. But also games from other studios as Rockstar Games would be in question, for example Bioshock, Borderlands or a Max Payne Trilogy.
