The 19-year-old New Zealand Lawson is about to become the youngest master of the DTM. At the penultimate season s race on the Norisring, the Red-Bull Junior in Ferrari missed the premature coronation, before the final run on Sunday (13.30 pm / Sat.1) Lawson holds all the trumps in his hand.

18 points lead

The teenager has 224 points after his tenth podium placement in the 15th race in the account. Making the title only the South African Kelvin van der Linde (206), who occupied fourth rank in the Audi and Saturday winner Maximilian Götz (Uffenheim / Mercedes / 205). Maximum to win are still 28 points: three for the pole position, 25 for the race victory.

The only 2.3 km long tradition on the Nuremberg Zeppelinfeld was as often as the stage for a turbulent DTM race with many dual fights.
